PAWA and PAWAmobile are products of PAWA Limited, a company established with a focus on building and marketing a core banking system designed specifically to meet the needs of African MFIs and banks. These needs include customer care, fraud prevention, seamless reporting, branchless banking, flexibility, scalability, and more.

Many sophisticated international developers have provided flawed designs that don't consider the practical experiences of African institutions. This often leads to productivity loss as these institutions require constant customization of the software to adapt to their operations.

PAWA Limited recognized the impact of expensive loan management and core banking systems on small MFIs' cashflows. To address this, PAWA Limited designed a cloud-based solution that can be used on a subscription basis, making it more affordable for the majority of MFIs in Africa.

Through PAWA and PAWAmobile, PAWA Limited offers a comprehensive core banking software that combines standalone modules into a single package. This includes a mobile banking system application, an E-alert system, an E-archiving system, a reporting tool, and more.

PAWA is powered by Microlynxe Systems, a specialized software developer with a focus on building information systems for the financial services industry, particularly in the microfinance sector.
